About Us
Blaze Senior Concepts is an independent insurance agency located in West Lafayette, IN. It was founded by Bernadette Baugh. Bernadette has nearly 20 years of experience in the health insurance industry. Her foundation in insurance began working for Aetna Insurance Co. as an Account Executive. In this role, she quickly became comfortable explaining the complexities of health insurance coverage to employer and employee groups of 50-3,000 people. In most recent years, Bernadette has worked as a Medicare Advisor at EPIC/MBAH Insurance. It was during this time she found her true passion in helping people navigate the world of Medicare. As a wife, mother, and daughter, she believes strongly in the support of family. Bernadette has developed Blaze Senior Concepts to be an extension of the family support system in the areas of Medicare. Open lines of communication, relaxed conversations and honest guidance are just a few of the things a person can expect when becoming part of the Blaze family!
In Bernadette’s free time she enjoys spending time with her two children and husband, Clint. They like to travel, attend sporting events and get comfy at home when the weather turns cold. Bernadette also teaches Les Mills group fitness classes at the YMCA and Parkwest Fitness. She’s an avid health enthusiast and appreciates the work it takes to stay physically active.
